Hamilton (Ham) Dalton was a radio personality and comedian known as the Philadelphia "Town Crier" with well-known motto "Whoever you are, wherever you live, if you're for progress, you'll like Philadelphia". He first started with the Atlantic Constitution newspaper in Atlanta, GA and then began his radio career in Philadelphia, PA in 1932 over WCAU. Dalton died at age 72 in Philadelphia, PA on October 22, 1965. Portrait whereabouts unknown. 1951
